Recently I wondered why I am still using a single file <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mbox">mbox</a> instead of the more Unixy <a href="https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maildir">maildir</a> format on my Debian desktop and how difficult it would to be switch.
